About and methodology
Stack Bill is a living list of the free tier and the first paid price for the tools behind a first SaaS. It is for people who want to ship without a surprise bill.
How a row gets its facts
- Each fact is taken from that vendor's official pricing page, linked on the tool page.
- Every row has a last-checked date. The current dataset was checked on 2026-10-19.
- If the page does not say whether a card is required, whether the free plan lasts, or whether an EU region exists, the field is unknown. We do not fill gaps from memory or from other blogs.
- Prices stay in the currency the page showed, USD or EUR.
- "Stays free" means the page describes an ongoing free plan, not only a trial.
- "EU region" means the page says you can run or store data in the EU, or that the product is hosted in the EU. A GDPR mention alone is not enough, and is called out in the note.
What we do not do
A weekly script re-fetches each pricing page and diffs it against the last snapshot. If the text changed, it writes a review report. It does not edit the database. A human checks the diff and updates the row.
